Blow Out

19811 hr 48 minR

This brilliantly crafted political thriller from Brian De Palma packs a pitch-perfect visual style and an intricate plot. John Travolta gives a career-best performance as a movie sound-effects man who accidentally records evidence that may prove that a car accident was actually an assassination. Shot in 1980s Philadelphia, BLOW OUT is a standout of De Palma’s oeuvre and features a memorable chase through City Hall.
