The Thing

A rare horror remake that is as good (if not better) as the original. Isolated in the Antarctic, an American research station is under attack by an alien monster that can imitate any being it kills. THE THING is rife with compelling tension and remarkable make-up effects. John Carpenter’s version is closer to the original story than the 1951 Howard Hawks film. Presented on 35MM. Rated R.
